Ok have done some research but some things still need to be answered.

Will an efi harness for an E4od truck work on a manual truck? Do you splice wires differently? or just leave them unplugged?

Using the altenator and other junk from the 91,
is there really about only seven wires to kook up?

and do these come from the ends of the harness or what?

Yes it will work, but what computer are you using? An E4OD computer won't be happy without the trans. IF you user the manual, AOD, or C6 computer just leave the trans connectors unplugged.

Um, yes and no.
There are only about 6-7 wires to hook up, but are those wires easily ready to be hooked up? Or are they tangled in a mess or wires?
It's very unlikly that all the wires are in one simple connector for you to hook up in a hour.

I have a copy of the wirring diagram that you posted at one time.

But it does come down to about 6 or 7 wires?

I have no problem unraveling the hrness and finding the correct wires.

When you say e40d harness not happy without tranny (what does that mean, run bad?)

Does anything (wires from harness) hook up inside the cab?

I undertsand that the 6-7 hook include contant power, etc. does this hook strait to the battery?9i guess I could look up the digram for that one.)

Ok one more question about the lp (in tank) fuel pump.
the 91 wont work in my 84 tank right, so what can i do to get around that?, do i need a different tank?
