Howdy,
I did some searching and could not find a definate answer. I have a line on an 86 302 that I am thinking of picking up. My plan here is to put the heads and cam that I was planning on putting on my 93 on this engine so I can still drive the truck until I am ready to swap the engines. So really I am just wanting the shortblock. I can not seem to remember if the 86 had piston to valve clearance issues with the newer heads or if it was just the E6 heads that were the problem? Also can not find a definate answer on this being a "roller" block?
