I had my 94 Eddie Bauer painted per the vin but the secondary colors I'm having problems nailing down. The blue/green over the copper looks great that they shot it with. The problem is they used a dark tan semi gloss for the hard top. It looks like s%$# to me as I'm not one for change from the original. It looks like a flat light tan to me, but can anyone nail down the real color or code for me. I'm not accepting what they put on it at this time. :banghead

Any secondary colors should be noted on the door tag. If yours doesnt have the original door tag it may be in the glovebox.

Thanks Bruno, I'll check it out when I go see them again tomorrow. From what I've found on-line all Eddie Bauer models for 1994, the fiberglass hard tops are flat Tan.

The ones I have seen dont look dark tan or glossy. They are a lighter tan that is satin or flat. Maybe they thought they were pimping your ride for you mtlsted. They may mix their own colors there as well and didnt get the formula right too. Either way if you dont like it tell them about it and see what they will do for you. Dont let them push you around though. Just remember they want to get paid just as bad as you want your truck right. If they give you any lip just leave it with them for a few days w/o paying and see if that changes their attitude.

Someone painted the topper on my wifes 94 too and it looks like hell also. Its a light brown not tan and the paint is chipping off in big flakes, isnt their a fiberglass sealer by 3m someone reccomended before rather than painting?
