The Bronco was a purchase for my son, who is attending the University of Kentucky so he will be here more than I. It’s an OJ look-a-like and he seems to love it. Gotta get posting so we can buy in the classified section.

We purchased the Bronco off a website called Govdeals.com where local municipalities sell equipment etc. Drove to Hardin County, TN and picked it up from the Fire Chief. What is cool about it is that we live in Hardin County, Kentucky. Coincidence? Below is a picture the day we got it, and what it looks like just after taking off the decals, new tires. There is lots more we've done to it; and still doing. Getting all the emergency lights/wires has been a bear. We also ditched the bumper and winch from the front (Still have it if anyone is interested).

Yo SGMSHIPP,
Welcome!
Congratulations on the 94. It looks very good and being a county rescue vehicle, it most likely was maintained very well.

Find out if speed control, if equipped which is doubtful, being an XL model like our 96, recall work completed by a dealership. Call local dealer or register and view status @ https://owner.ford.com; or @ https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/ ... have VIN ready.
"Summary: ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS, PASSENGER VEHICLES, SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, AND MOTOR HOMES CHASSIS, THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, LEAK INTERNALLY AND THEN OVERHEAT, SMOKE, OR BURN. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN UNDERHOOD FIRE."

note that the 93 recall is different than 94-96

This will get more attention and you can build up your post count to get into other sections such as Bronco and Ford Parts/Accessories (75 posts required to view). Just be wary of padding posts.
