Can anyone tell me if the rear speed sensor and the ABS sensor are the same thing, and if not where is the ABS sensor located?

I am assuming that you have rear wheel disc brakes, and if that is the case then there is a wire running right to the sensor itself(can't miss it) it reads tire rotation via a ring with slots in it. hope this can help:thumbup

Some people call it ABS sensor, some call it rear speed sensor.

So you answer is YES, they both are the same thing.
