I just bought a wrecked 95 Eddie Bronco. I've got the rear quarter, top and tailgate swapped and now need to get it running good, so I can start dressing it up. I'm having to start it by turning the key all the way on, then shorting the solenoid. Seems like I've got resistance in the key when turned all the way, like normal. What are these Broncos known for going bad, and where should I start first, iginition switch, neutral switch, solenoid, etc.? I'm going to try to dig into it in the next few days. Thanks in advance!

check for voltage on the control wire of the solenoid with a multimeter. Have a buddy turn the key to try and start it. If you get voltage on the control wire when this happens then you know it is the solenoid for sure.

Replaced Ignition switch (electrical component) and got it to then start clicking, so I then replaced solenoid relay and we're in business.
