Are all 1996 5.8L mass air flow? I was going to rebuild my 302, but I found a 1996 E-150 with a 5.8... Thanks!

I believe they are.. however look in the E-150's engine bay and see if it has the Mass air flow sensor..

Though it's just not a direct swap. There's more to it then just putting the motor in.

obd-1 vs obd-2 just alot more stuff built into it.

well by his bronco information he has a 95, and looking at a 96. there for the 1vs2 from what I posted.

Ah. Good point, sir. :toothless

I still don't understand why everyone gets so hung up on the variations in years and OBD-I/-II stuff. Change what you need, install, remove, etc., fire it up and diagnose as required.

I just like to point that out. obd2 just had more sensors, wires, and other stuff to hook up. Just takes more time and research is all. :thumbup
