I just finished fixing my passenger window.

I've read about subbing in 1/4 inch tube in place of the ford repair kit. I was wondering if anybody else has used anything else. For the door motors, I saw some people saying they have used small nuts.

Just seeing what other options are out there.

Thanks.

the same kit that in the help section used on doors? if so, thats sweet, thats what i just used to fix my passenger door.

i know there are instructions in steve83s album, but in general is getting the rear motor out as easy as the door?

thanks.

yeah the same one as the door. getting to the rear motor out aint that bad just make sure you support the rear windown on something so the you dont break it. three bolts hold the motor in and then you can pull it out enough to get the motor on the gate and the rest is simple remove and install.
