My mechanic told me that I needed a new condenser because it was clogged. I disconnected the lines and blew air through it. I checked the blue expansion tube for debris I have a new compressor, evaporator core and dryer. I vacuumed it down and when I got on the second can the high side hose connected to the condenser busted. The compressor clutch kicked on but it never got cold before it blew. I Any suggestions? Update: I checked the blue orifice tube again and it looked very dirty, so maybe its getting backed up with trash once its under pressure. I'll flush the system and see and refill tomorrow. I also blew air from the high side of the compressor all the way to the low with no problems.

Did you happen to notice the pressure before it blew? Did the hose blow due to overpressure or just worn out? As far as the orifice tube, change with a clean one and flush the system before you reinstall.
