Ok i have a 1996 bronco 302 when i floor it it bogs if i either back off or slightly step in to the throttle it runs like a champ :rockonsoo i think its the tps sensor?? any thoughts

Check timing and codes, first.

yeah i got some codes speed sensor and egr and two others that were something like p109 or something ill double check the codes and timing tomorrow

no i dont think so i believe that only does speedometer and abs could be lagging from timing

this just hapened to day before it wold bog till 3000 rpm then it would haul now its boggy unless like said in prior post

Speed sensor also controls your E40D transmission, the shift points of your trans, your ABS (on all 4 wheels), it also sends a signal to your ECU for engine management -(ie: Governor or top speed limit). On top of that, it controls the speedometer reading and input for your cruise control.
If you had 1990 and prior it would only be ABS & Speedo, but you have a 96

hmmm a leak could make it where it wont open the fuel regulator hmmmm

I do see that now
Anyway, do you have access to a code reader? And a vacuum leak is very plausible, as is a misfire. I had the same problem for both.

ok timimg was set at 10 so i ut it at 14 and she woke up!! thanks ya ill se if it is still doing it in the morning or later tonight
