Anyone familiar with Air Lift Brand on Board compressors. My father in law gave me one for free along with the guage and switch panel that came off of his old tow rig that had airbags on it. Anyone know if these are strong enough for me to bother trying to get a tank and install it all into the Bronco???

Get hold of Air Lift and find out what the duty cycle rating is on it. If it's not in the range of 25% minimum (2.5 minutes out of every 10), I'd be pretty wary of trying to use it for trail duty. You can burn up a short duty cycle compressor airing up tires.

I have em' (and the bags), had them on the lowrider before the hydraulics, had it hooked up along with another to a 7gal air pig, kept it topped up, I think they are only 25% cycle duty but most have thermal protect so they don't burn out.
