Where do fellow 78/79 owners take their rigs for toe alignment? I have done at home before, but I am looking to out source this.

A little more about my situation. I am running 5" lift, 37" tires and the ruff stuff steering kit that is quite different from the stock set up.

Two local shops told me I was "too big" for them - first time for everything!:rofl::rofl:

Another shop tried and called me and said it could not be done. When I got home, I was running +2.5" of toe and, tie rod ends were barely threaded in and they mangled the bungs and lock nuts with either vice grips or a pipe wrench.

Anyone have any luck with a place that services big trucks like Macks and Frieghtliners?

I take mine to Goodyear and they are pretty good at setting the toe and I'm running 33's.

Any reputable alignment shop should be able to handle the job. There aren't a whole lot of adjustments you can make to the radius arm suspension aside from toe and caster angle.
