What alternators from other Fords *(model and year) will work with my 1996 Bronco? I just need an alternator to get by until I can buy one of Ryans 3Gs.

Get a junkyard 3g and rewire it. It takes 10 minutes.

I am not a believer in junkyard electrical parts, they are exactly like playing Russian Roulette. Just need something temporary in there.

Then get 2. Its a 3 bolt swap. Unless they are super expensive where you live. 15 bucks apiece by me. High turnover of cars means fresh alternators.

PLus even if you don't beleive in electrical from a junkyard most parts stores like checker have free testing of alternators and such. So you can find out if it works before you put it in.
