Would like to try and get a new set of lifters in the 400. Pretty good racket in there when they are warm, even with the previous fix of 20W50. Figure I can at least accurately check preload with the intake off. Just to recap, I and others have had a lot of problems with poorly made lifters. Turns out a major lifter supplier had gone belly up in the past couple years (so I'm told). Now it seems hit or miss, especially when breaking in cams. Any general news on which brand, or do they all still suck?
