Like a hand throttle or a factory replacement?

My internet connection sucks right now or I'd search for it before I posted this.


Crazed has a pretty good hand throttle write up on here somewhere...it's pretty old , tho ('03-'04?)

He used a bicycle gear shifter and cable so that he has multiple engine "speeds" to chose from....

but I'd think that after a couple hundred pedal movements the cable might start to bend or fray. With the pull cord it can stay stationary when it's not in use.

Makes sense to me. If you only had cable, when you operated the gas pedal, then your hand throttle would move, too. This way, the chain falls slack when the throttle pedal is used...
