Go to a bicycle shop and get one of those shifters with built in detentes...gives you more control, and they are cheep....just run the cable through the firewall, with a grommet, and attach to transfer case lever.....hook up with ball chain to the throttle and you are good to go. Did one on an old scout and it worked outstandingly. me thinks better results with EFI than carbed, especially on side hill thingies
