Here is my Bronk with 4 inch suspension with 35's and my fenders are cut. If you plan on putting 35's on I hope you don't plan on doing alot of wheelin' because you won't have a whole lot of wheel space in your fenders for movement of your tires....

35's will rub pretty bad on your stock radius arms.

Here are a couple pics of my bronk.........

The front tire is rubbing in this picture...

The tires fit well even before I cut the fenders...

Just for reference, this is what a 4 inch lift with 31's looks like.

im thinking of putting on a 3in body lift with that 4 in suspension, its only 100 more, and that will give me 7 inches to clear 35's. hope to start this at the beggining of summer :rockon

I would just go with the 6 inch suspension and 35's they will fit perfect without cutting your fenders. That way you don't have to dick around with a body lift, from my experience body lifts are a pain in the ass.

may I ask how you are planning on shoving 37's under there? just curious
well you can get 36's to fit without a lift....

the reason i dont want to do a 6 in, is because of extending brakelines ( not really a problem) but i dont want to have to hassle with extending driveshafts, that gets $$$

70's broncs seem to have the biggest room for tires in the fenders.
80's broncs are slightly smaller, seems that u can get away fine with 4" lift and 35".
87+ with round fenders are smaller than above, some people live with 4"/35" some others do fender trim.
usually you can play with different wheelspacing for the radius arm rub, but this is limited, since you will be rubbing the fender if you get wheels that stand outside too much.
another factor is the planned use for the bronc. DD that never see twisty trails may have the ocassional full turn rub to worry about. Heavy trai cruisers may really have clearance issues.

I was thinking the same way you are 4" and 35's. Then I came across a great deal on a 6" lift.

I only had to get an extended brake line for the rear $45. If you run stock springs or do a shackle flip you won't have to worry about d.s. issues either.

It really dosn't cost much more. Now that I have done the 6" I'm glad I did, because eventually I think I want to run 36's or 37's.

As far as gearing goes with your 302 I would definately go with 4.56's if not 4.88's. I did 4.56's and wish I would have done 4.88's.

35's fit no problem right now, once i cut the front, the 37's with have plenty of room to stuff.remember with some blades and a sawzall your limits are endless:toothless
