Big Daddy E4OD

Someone had posted a link to a place that builds transmissions, including the E4OD. I had called a while back to ask about them, and I want to get their stock computer bypass. Does anyone have this link still? I can't find the thread in a search. I think it was called the "Big Daddy" E4OD.

The transmission itself is somewhere around $2800 with the torque converter. I'm probably going to just get the computer.

$2800 bones, that's a good bit of money, does anyone know anybody who has first hand experience with one of these trannies?

Every update available for the trans can be bought for less than 1000. Then add the full rebuild kit with better clutches-200, and 100-150 for the shift kit. This is what's in mine. It was done maybe 30,000 miles ago and it still shifts like brand new. I beat the crap out of the truck and the trans has held up great. So look at 1600 with torque converter if you do it yourself. The TransGo shift kit lets you choose the shifts you want to. Just my .02

I wish I knew about them before I did mine 2 years ago , I paid 3400 for a "Fully Upgraded" E4OD and its a piece of shit . I had all the upgrades done and have had nothing but problems , The only still esisting problem is the delay when you put it into gear .
