I found this Bronco on ebay. I waited until the last 20 seconds of the auction and still got outbidded. I had spent the last few days before the end of the auction corresponding with the seller. As luck would have it the winning bidder was a flake and seller contacted me. The truck was delivered to me in the OC from Hesperia today. Nice that I didn't have to make that 200 mile round trip.

I'm really happy with this new Bronco. It's a 1995 XLT all blacked just like my current Bronco. The only difference is that my daily driver has tan interior and this new rig has grey which is one of the reasons why I purchased this ride.

Here are a few stats:
1995
5.8 with 79,000 original miles
One owner
vehicle is in awesome condition, check it out.

Future Plans:
Mount my Solo Motorsports gear (radius arms and beams) I was saving for my Class 3 build. Deavers and Solo shackles.

Cosmetic:
Limo tint all the way around. Have the entire truck detailed.

Oh by the way, the seller knocked down the price by $500.00 if he could keep his wheels. He sent the truck with a nice set of rusty rollies, lol.

Thanks Tower but I think I'll either throw the deavers on my new 1984 or save them for my Class 3 build. I'm hoping to swap the front end of the 4Door (1989 front end to 1992-1996 front end) next month but for the most part it'll stay as is for a little while. I'm hoping to drive the four door to the Le Duc swap meet next year.

Andy I'm just storing the 13 Alcoas at your house, ha ha ha.
I did the 1986-1996 swap on my bronco using the Perry fab and fiber conversion and let me tell you it is not easy. Maybe it was just the perrys stuff but getting everything to line up was difficult! If I can make a sugestion go to a junk yard and but the whole lighting assembly with the wiring harness all the way back to the cab. It will make wiring the lights much easier. Good luck and I can't wait to see it done!!

I decided I need to try to keep up with you (NOT 4 Broncos!!!).

I currently have 5 Alcoas and I hid 3 more at pick a part today so I can go grab them for $12.50 each on half price weekend. I'll be at 8 if someone doesn't find them first. haha

Nice... I'll have to post some pics of "Big Berta" this weekend if I can get away with it... four door love yo! Any progress on your four door?
Thanks Philo. For the four door I've gathered all the front end swap pieces and had them powder coated so just waiting to handle that front end swap which I'm really not looking forward to it. I have also picked up one brand new BFG All Terrain 315/75/16 tire and looking for three more to complete my set. Lots more to do on the four door but I'd like to get the 84 in fight shape to hit the desert.
that 84 was a smoking deal! i cant believe my pops past that up. good luck with what ever you do with it.
Thanks Yaa. It was a killer deal. Engine is strong, tranny is nearly new, brakes are new, damn there is not much that mechnically this rig needs other then a solid cleaning. I may end up selling this thing sometime next summer as I really want to get the four door in prerunner shape.

Let me know when you are gonna do the front end swap. If I don't have my son (1st,3rd,5ht weekend) I would love to come down and help (learn). :thumbup

A few additions to the 1984 Bronco. A set of Ford Motorsports valve cover (Thanks Ollie) and a rear Pro-Comp amber light (courtesy of Tony's brother Vic).

Here is some new pics of the Autofab Fiberglass fenders mounted, new steel hood and mirrors mounted. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of the engine cross member.

It turns out the front end is set up with 400/500 spring rates. It'll be interesting to see how it handles in the dirt.
i think some 4" coils are mising hint hint;)
The 4" coils are for his 4 door!!:smilie_slap:smilie_slap

Try and keep up....
Looks awesome Chris. Get it done so I can take it off your hands.

ha ha ha no kidding. Next I'm starting on sanding the body down and repainting it myself. Straight up low budget style with a harbor freight spray gun.

Under, I gotta connect with you. I'm not in LA today to get the springs.
Where did you get those mirrors? I am tired of breaking the glass in my mirrors on every Baja trip.

They were made by Titan Off Road but they are no longer in business. I have some up close photos that you can take to your local fab guy who could easily make you a set.
