yesterday:
project #1 started yesterday...Finally got the 70' stang coupe in the shed...restoration has begun...in a matter of 12 hours i stripped every removable exterior piece off and gutted the interior minus the steering column and lower protion of the dash.,..ive got some rust to be dealt with in the floor...not too bad though.. this week i will be pulling the 250 I-6 in favor of the 347 stroker to be bolted in. Also gonna get it on stands and get the driveline out...then start building my body rotissary
today:
got my 79' D44 for my SAS on my 91...going from stock to unstoppable...decided since my truck barely stays aligned now it would never if i lifted it(ttb lift) so the d44 is being completely rebuilt w/ 4.56's detroits cage arms and 6" deaver springs front and rear...hoping to be starting the swap and have all of my parts together by late july...gonna prolly be one of the fastest SAS parts gathering times on the site...
2 new projects...should have staggered them a bit...lol most of my money will go to the SAS...the stang will be getting taken apart and sanded during the SAS...money will eventually make it to the stang
oh ill take some pics tommorow in the daylight
just wanted to share
