Dont do a hood scoop, they look tacky, If your gonna do something, Do a full Ram Air Hood. Those look so much better.
But if you must, theres a site that shows some with scoops. These are all fiberglass Hoods. If you gotta Scoop, this is the way you wanna do it.
Dont be cheap and cheezy and get some glue on trash.

Thanks miesk. That's a start. I saw an older F-150 right in my neighborhood here that has two long narrow scoops on the hood. Really looked good. That might be what I want...not sure if I want anything though.

They finally make a 3"cowl hood for my '90, But they don't actually say if it is a poser hood or if the back is open to let the heat out to the windshield on the usbody hood, And for that price {purchase, SHIPPING, and paint} They should give some views of it on a vehicle and at different angles including drivers view. They ALMOST had my money.

Actually if you go back and read the original post I didn't ask for anybody's opinion on this I just asked if anybody had done it and could post pictures. So why would I want to put up a poll? Where does "no don't do it" answer my question?

I really like the scoops on this hood.

I know its a 78-79 hood, but you could do something similar. The Lund (Pep Boys or Summit) twin scoops look like crap! (Sorry, you didn't want opinions . . . )

That's a nice looking hood but I am not capable of doing that kind of body work. I have a hard time with a rattle can.

youd be better off getting you a hood from the yard and making you a ram air.

but if you do decide to install (i mean stick) on the scoops, dont forget the fender vents :toothless
