Right below the top door hinge about 3" in is a bolt that goes into the fender. 1/2" wrench to take it out.

On a more serious note I have sent better Bronco tubs to the junkyard than what you are starting with. My hats off to you if you continue on with that body. She is very badly rusted especially the roof rails.

Shocks are mounted in the stock location, 1 in front, 1 in back.

The shock positioning helps prevent axle wrap or hop, or something like that. You are welcome for the detailed answer.

I was going to buy new front mounts from that 73-79 ford truck website but apparently they have a bit of a bad rep here so I don't know...
