Not the best fuel providing system. Go junkyarding :thumbup for some cool fuel stuff off some older EFI trucks.
You system flows about 120LPH
The older EFI trucks flow 190LPH

Much more fuel, less doubt's
Can you help me with what to look for? Year? size engine? Can I keep the in-tank pump and add on?

i may have an idea why ur motor popped. my last motor on the last 2 cylinders also went bad from knocking but it was #8 that blew a hole in the piston. what happend was my motor had oil blow by and the oil would come out of the PVC on top of the valve covers. if u follow the PVC line from the passenger side valve cover, it goes to the back of the upper intake manifold. well when the coil goes into the intake it dumps oil right into the intake ports for the last 2 cylinders. later this leads to a huge amount of carbon build up which will caused detenation and eventually blow the hole in the piston.
i solved my problem by pluging the factory hold on the back of the intake manifold. then i drilled a new hole on the side of the manifold where now it should spread the blow by oil more evenly.
good luck

i suppose it could with the blower at 9lbs
thats right, forgot u have a supercharger. fyi- my new Jasper motor has some small amount of blow by. i was told that most aftermarket motor rebuilding companys dont build the motor as tight as factory b/c it has less chance of wearing in wrong from incorrect break in procdures.

hey ryan, does my 89 351 have 1 or 2 fuel pumps?
u have 2 pumps. one in the tank and one on the frame rail.

huh? :shrug
The Ford programing edits timing from base program to control idle and temp.
If he was running too cold right before it went lean, then maybe (just maybe) you could be correct. There is no way the computer sensed a lean condition and then sent the timing into KILL mode LOL
Why do I always feel like I have to explain myself. I was just saying if he was already at the edge of his limits, it wouldn't take much to push it over. For example Clogged injectors or whatever.
