OK

I've been searching like crazy, believe me. This truck has the "K" transmission, which ever that is, I think is the C one. Anyways, the speedometer cable is broken, and the cops here will hammer me soon if I dont get the speed fixed. I also want to get the shift indicator working right. Just a few little things. Thanks.!

Welcome to FSB. One of the first things to do whenever getting a new vehicle... buy a Haynes or Chiltons manual. Both these fixes (speedometer cable and shfit indicator adjustment) are covered in there. Don't forget to lightly lube the speedometer cable before putting it in the plastic sleeve or it will jump and bounce after getting it back together.

IIRC the tools needed for both these fixes is a
1/2" wrench or socket (remove the speed sensor from the transfer case)
phillips screwdriver (remove some of the dash trim and the column shroud)
Pair of needlenose pliers (remove the clip holding cable to speed sensor)
T25 torx driver (remove rest of dash trim and inst cluster)
and 1/4" socket (loosen adjuster bolt for shift indicator)
