I went to a swap meet Sauturday and was lucky to find some Broncos. I ended up getting 7 Final Run Broncos. 1 for work, 1 for each kid and the rest in a box with the rest of my Bronco collectoin. I picked them up for $2 each.

I have looked for a long time, found them for $3 by my work, thought I would check out the swapmeet, got lucky. :rockon

I get them off Ebay. I want one of the ones with rubber tires... But I'm not willing to pay $20 for them off Ebay..

I think i have one Real Riders w/ the rubber tires.
If i see deals i go for them. I don't pay more than $5 for them.

I've never seen one in good condition.. I dont' want one thats flaking and all scratched up.. I want one thats new still in the box. Or very close to new condition..

But guess it doesn't matter. I'd like to get one and paint it to match my 85.

What would be the best way to paint a hotwheels? :shrug

With paint?? :thumbup

I've usually just used regular old model paint.

Yeah, model paint.......... Not real easy to mask off the windows and trim and spray :shocked :histerica

I was wondering more along the lines if you stripped the paint and then painted it. If you did airbursh it...or if you just used a brush.

I guess I should have just been more specific

Just F%#kin wit ya......... I always just used a brush, never airbrushed......

I used paint stipper. WOrks faster. Primed the Bronco that sprayed, clearcoated it. You don't need primer, or you can polish it. That look nice. I have a few pics from posts from Hotwheels.com of other guys customizing Broncos. I started working on a few, along with my 1/24 scale, not done yet.
It takes time.
If you find any scratched up/nicked etc for a $1 or so let me know.
I would like to increase by used section.
