any one know where I can get a set of braided stainless brake lines to replace the rubber OEM lines for a resonable price? I've looked at JC Whitney, 2 pc set for $114, and classictyube.com 4pc for $275. Are these resonable prices?

Another question. Will putting extended brake lines made for a 4" lift on a bronco without a lift cause any problems?

pretty sure it won't unless the extra slack snags on something, but it shouldn't really. Are you just doing it for looks or do you just want them longer?

well cheap way like i did was extended the mounting brackets of the existing brake lines, requires you to play with the metal lines a little but is really cheap and simple. PLus this way allows you to replace your brake lines at anytime from the local parts store instead of ordering them if something happens.

Get the front three pieces braided and then just bend the bracket on the rear when needed. I just installed the JBG hoses and it was a nice upgrade to have brakes again. My old hose had a little leak.

Yah, you can go to a local racing shop and get a length of their custom brake line cut and some end fittings. The fittings stick on the line via a smashable ferrule that goes between the braid and the hose under neath.

I dont think it'd DOT legal, but has worked for about 4 years for me....on front brakes.
