need a little help. i broke a rear brake line on the 78 on my way out to the woods. i fixed the broken line but i cant bleed the brakes because the fittings on the rear drums are froze up from rust. any ideas how to break those fittings loose. do i just soak it down with pb and wait?

You cand bleed your wheel cylinders (or any cylinder for that matter) at the brake line instead of the bleeder screw.

I've always just PB'd the crap out of them and used a 6-point 1/4" drive socket to break them loose. Unfortunately if you've already rounded it off I'd just go the vice grip route, and replace it with a new one.

If that fails I'd just replace the whole wheel cylinder as someone suggested earlier.
