Ok so I was driving home last night and my truck started jumping will going up a small hill. When it was time to accelerate, the truck jumped even more and then finally shut off. I pulled over to the side of the road and tried to restart it and nothing. It will crank but wont turn over. Anybody ever have this problem before?

Start with your basics.
Check for spark, check for fuel, and check your compression. No point in doing any diagnostics till you know those 3 are okay.

This might not be your problem but the same symtoms happened to a friend of mine. His Auto Locking Hubs would freeze up on him causing his whole front end to jump up and cause the engine to stall. Do you have Auto-Lock Hubs?

The wire going from the coil to the distributor came loose. My coil bracket is broken and i had no idea that it was. I hit an infamous pothole which i guess caused to coil to wiggle around and let that wire come loose.
All is good and thanks
