yes, everything minus the housing, axle shafts and brakes(unless you redrill the rotor/drums , but only worth it if its disc brakes from a from a 96-01 exploder)

so gears, carrier, cover, (both are 31-spline) will work, and vss sensor

the antiwrap bar might be able to be modded to a bronco, but i think only 96-01 v8 5.0 explorers got them

You could just about swap an F-150 8.8 into the Bronco. Need a little modding but it would swap. An added bonus would be geting a disc brake 8.8 off a later model truck.

Pretty sure any later model 8.8 from a f150 is going to use a metric bolt pattern. the explorer 8.8 uses a smaller wheel bolt pattern than a bronco.

Differentials should be the same thou.

Explorers use a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, also the axle width is much narrower.

I was thinking more of the internals. My exploder has 4.56 and when I go to 5.13 I can swap over the whole carrier if i wanted to.

The bolt pattern and axle width is definately different, that part I knew wasnt sure about axle spline count and thickness.

While we are at it, what about the interior? seats and such. thanks.
