Hello members,

87 bronco ll is choking up bad.It will runs for a few blocks and then choke or die.I can sit in the drive way push the gas 2 or 3 times and it chokes.Tried gas treatment and fuel filter chang-was filthy.Got a LITTLE better after EGR replacement.What could this be ?

WRong forum, need to be in the anything else forum.

but either or sounds likea fuel or fire issue

well...

well i also have a 87 bronco II, sounds like one of the fuel pumps or filters, like i it was said before check your fuel pressure stock BII's have two fuel pumps one in the tank (low pressure) and one on the inside of the frame rail close to the middle of the truck, also did you replace both fuel filters? because if it's completely stock there's a canister type towards the middle of the truck mounted inside the frame rail also there's a standard in line type filter towards the front inside the frame rail also you may want to consider a ignition tune-up, if you have any more questions you need to join www.therangerstation.com for any further problems with your BII
