I have a 1989 Bronco frame with a 92 body. There is no Vin plate obviously on the body because it does not match the frame. The frame has been fully restored. It has the original 351 still in it. Does anyone know where I can find the VIN to match to title??

Thanks Guys

These are the typical places the Vin codes hide. OTher than them im stumped

- On the door frame/door post of the front doors (usually driver's but sometimes passenger's)
- On the dash near the windshield
- On the engine itself (machined pad on front of engine)
- On the car's firewall
- In the left-hand inner wheel arch
- On the steering wheel/steering column
- On the radiator support bracket
The VIN will be stamped into the top of the frame rail on the passenger side by the firewall, close to the no.2 body mount. JSM84

Hi I have looked on the top of the frame rail near firewall and this is what it says *NLA88764* That doesnt seen like a vin number. Is there any other place on the frame? As Bruce said it is a 89 frame with 92 body I am lost here.
I guess nobody knows. Apointment has been set and the CHP will have to figure it out for themselfs.
If you found those numbers stamped on the upper frame rail then they are probably the last 8 of your VIN.
