I've had a electrical miss that's been going on for almost 1 1/2 months. It's now so bad I didn't think I'd get to work today. In the past as long as I left it in gear it would fire back up. When it does miss it does so several times. It always begins once the truck is warmed up. Today it flat died 15 minutes after startup. I changed the coil. I'm now thinking the main computer. (ECU I believe it's called). Any ideas?

What diagnostics did you do to lead you to that conclusion?

Did you get any codes?

32 (KOEO) = EVP circuit below minimum voltage of 0.24 volts.
32 (CM) = EVP circuit has intermittently failed below minimum voltage of 0.24 volts.

Either your EVP is bad or you have some bad wiring.

67 (KOEO/CM) = Neutral safety circuit failure.
67 (KOER) = A/C circuit was on during KOER Self-Test.

Was the truck in nuetral when you ran the test?

14 (CM) = Two or more successive erratic Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) pulses occurred, resulting in a possible engine miss or stall.
Could be the TFI or the PIP.
