Don't know what to search for to get advice on this...
Whenever I turn and slide out of the driver's seat, I nail my ass/leg on the lever that adjusts the seat back. Anyone else ever run into this problem, and have a solution.

It's a 1992 Bronco XLT with manual cloth seats.

Sounds to me like your seats are broken down a lot.
I do not know if you could adjust it down some. Maybe just cut it somewhere bend it down and reweld the cut.

Damn, I'm not fat!
If I had a big ass, it wouldn't bruise, it would just ooze around the lever. :)

I guess it's from the seat cushion losing some of it's shape.

I'll try the lube. Wait, I don't want to hear the words lube in the same thread with ass...

I havent looked or anything but is there any way you can slip another layer or foam into the seat bottom?
The seats are in excellent condition, I don't want to screw with the stitching.
I may just get one of those grandma cushions... or, take my time and swivel out instead of sliding out of the seat.
