My 2nd bullnose over the years, I had a 79, an 85, & a new 96 previously, & decided I like the bullnose best so I bought this 86.

My dad had an 88 F150 & I drove that a lot when I was 16-17 years old, so I knew that bricknose style and guages all too well.

I've had both...82 bull and a 90 brick... I liked the brick more in respect that it has 4 gears and was great on road trips with some more modern conveniences...

(Only pic I have of it 😥)

But I love my bullnose because it's just classic bold strong lines, looks great, u don't see them everywhere, and I've seen at least a half dozen guys give themselves whiplash just to watch us drive by... Never got that response in the brick. Yeah... I'm an attention whore 😏

Seeing as how it's the xlt lariat it's fully loaded so get a lot of the modem conveniences like power windows, cruise etc. So I'll live with the 3 gear tranny cause I fall in love all over again every time I drive her ❤

I have neither but I’m seriously considering a bullnose F150 as a complement to my 93 Bronc

I grew up loving the 70’s cars and trucks. This is a birth year project so I’m going to keep it and mod it. Next truck will be from the 70’s. I’ll never mess with an 80’s truck ever again.

Give me less vacuum, front solid axles, and leaf springs front and rear and I’m happy.

Got it. I actually like the bullnose of the 80-96 body styles the best. Could also do birth year project in an ‘82. The 70’s are beautiful trucks but I don’t like them enough more to justify what most people want for them.

I’m willing to cut floors and fix a lot of cancer to get into a 70’s SUV or truck for a decent project price. :)

I think once I fine tune this 84’ I might like it more. Been looking at pics of front ends and I’m going to make it the way I like it. Still debating on 4” and 35’s for this mall crawler.

Well I guess....I’m a brick nose since that’s what I have...I like them all but I do think the old grills and lights of the older models command a stouter look. The brick nose seems a little more serene...emotionless where the bullnose appears to have some attitude. Having said that...I have seen some newer style replacement lights for the brick nose that really changes that serene look to some attitude...
.....my first bronco....’84 bullnose with a 300 six in it.....it died and landed in the scrap yard all rusted out....RIP 84Mudhorse...
