I have a 95 with a 351 that I want to put out about 400 to 500 hp. I plan to super charge the motor and do all forged internals. I know my 8.8 rear end will need some work to handle the power. My problem is that I want to keep my e4od and upgrade it, to handle the power as well. What should I do to it to get it strong enough to handle that power?

I already search and couldnt find anything

Ask some diesel guys about building the E4OD up. I think theres a company called BDS that does it to handle some serious torque

but beware..................$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You should spend quality time with the search function over at http://www.nloc.net/forum/

The lightning guys have beat this tranny up one side and down another. Getting it to handle 400-500hp (and accompanying torque) is very doable. It's a tough tranny once you work through its quirks.

6 pinion planetaries (only thing mine doesnt have)
45 element sprags
red eagle/atlo clutch and steels
trans go shift kit
new solenoids
deep sump pan
good torque converter (furance brazed fins), stall is up to u. ( i run a stock stall converter)

u shouldnt need the pump update kit or the other upgrades since u have a 95.
