Hey guys I am tryin to get as high as possible while still being able to drive that beast around. Can u guys tell me how high your bumpers are sitting w/ lifts? i dutn think i can go above 29 inches (stupid VA! :twak ) thanks guys...

I have a 9" Skyjacker suspension lift with 38.5" Swamper's on a 78 Bronco and I'm 31 inches to the bottom of the rear bumper.

what is the GMVW of a 79 bronc... my registration has an estimated weight of 4700#... is that right? seems a lil light

If your talking to me,CA doesnt need an inspection sticker.They ream you with smog.

i dont know but it seems like with 9" and 38.5s you should have alot more height on me than just the 4" posted. 9" on the lift should give you 5" on me alone. plus 1" for the tires too. weird how it all works out huh?

ight guys thanks for all ur input... i will probably get goin on a 4 in suspension and try and fit some 37.5s... if not i can roll on 35s on the street... anyways thanks for all the help

:rebelflag shit i live in cali and i only have to worry about how high my fame is off the ground and the hights of my head lights. the headlights of the head lights cant be more than 52 inches measuring frome the middle of the light to the ground. and no more than 31 inches off the ground. i got a 1987 bronco with custom 10 inch lift with 3 inch body lift. and im running 44 inch swampers. i just got pulled over the other day. the cop tryed to get me for eveything he could but i only got a ticket for not having mud flaps. i passed on teh frame hight cause i welled a pice to the frame, mand i relocated teh lights lower so i was clear on that. tehn he tryed to get me on tires sticking out to far but i have finder flairs. the only thing i didnt have on at the time were my mud flaps so he gave me a fix it ticket. so i dono what stats have rules on bumper hights but i havet herd or had problems with cops in that area. dought u will. any one have any other imput. :usa

I live in Southen CA and I have never got pulled over for my truck being too tall....One time my truck was smoking really bad because of an oil leak that was leaking onto the headers...The cop looked at me and gave me the :thumbup .Another time,a cop pulled me over to say i had a nice truck and if i go off roading at Azuza Canyon.I guess its the kind of cop you get.
