Well I can think of at least 3 diffrent softwares for this but all cost money. So maybe you can try this site
http://www.burnworld.com/
or this one http://www.afterdawn.com

I use dvd express and dvd x copy as well as dvd cloner and I only have one drive to use. These program all set up a temp folder and put the movie there till you burn it to another dvd.
Hope this helps alittle

if you have windows media player, there is a tab on the side that says "Copy from CD" and you go to that while you have the cd in, and then click copy music, i know it works for Cd's but i dont have a clue for dvd's, hope it works for you though

Wes there are a ton of different DVD Ripper and burner softwares out there. Do a search on google and see what you come up with. The main thing with ripping a DVD or copying one is the encrypted code they have on them. Say you wanted to rent a movie from Blockbuster, slap it in your burner and run a copy..It won't work as I'm sure you've found out. The good rippers will be able to break the code key and allow the copy to play on your DVD. Check out this this site for more help on rippiing DVD's
