When I got home yesterday my step was hanging down away from the truck. Finally got it loose and found just a touch of rust...

Once I got it off I noticed a bracket had also pulled loose from the step itself.

As usual the step bolts were corroded and snapped off...

I was surprised it lasted as long as it did... so I have searched for an OEM replacement, no good. There is not a good one out there that I can find.

I did noticed they re-opened your road. That shoulda made a few people happy.
I'll be hollering at you probably Tuesday or Wednesday.
I'm going to assume epoxy will hold that bracket to the step.
Thanks

I used epoxy as Steve mentioned and it has held up pretty good over the years. I also drilled a drain hole in the center of my two brackets.

I like the idea of drilling a hole in the bracket. I bought a used pair of brackets last summer, and POR-15'd them inside and outside. I posed the question about putting a drain hole in them, and was talked out of it by folks on this forum. Texas is pretty dry (or at least salt free) compared to Michigan.
I'm going to put a drain in mine, before they go through another winter, I don't think it will hurt them, and maybe save them for a few more years.
