No 78-79 Bronco guys with a digi camera?

I have a '78 F-150 Supercab axle. Seeing as how your site greatly helped me during my SAS, I'll
gladly get you some pics; hopefully this weekend, if it stops raining.

Well, I don't have a 78-79 cept the front D44 axle, but I figured you'd rather see nice stock stuff. My stuff you'd have a lot of 'splainin' to do with steering, chevy outers, etc. isn't a pic of factory junkyard stuff to look for. Unless your next chapter is going to show pics of mix/match of outer options, in which case you might like some pics of mine. The whole thing is purdy though, unlike some of your older pics from midwest axles.....the rust makes some of those axles practically unrecognizable.

Yep, I need to finish the stock stuff first.
I started a rough draft as to WMS-WMS and how it changes with different parts. Man does it get long, not sure what to do with that yet.
I'll take you up on that next winter!
Most of my old pics were done with a point and shoot 1.2 megapixel camers. I did get a 2.1 for a few shots, but that was a $1200+ camera in it's day.

Sounds like you've been list'n to C.W. McCall

well your 1 ton section only has up to 77.5
I have it fixed on my draft page.

F250 vs F350 Dana 60 in 77.5-79 ... It's like the Full size Bronco and 1/2 ton truck of 78-79... Do I split them up or run them together?
They both use the same axle. (Ok the F150 has an axle code that doesn't show up under the Bronco, but it's close enough it doesn't matter)

At first I was thinking not needed, run them together with explanation on what option the front F250 could be. Then I was thinking it might be useful for folks to understand that the F250 with D60 front will always be matched to a 60 year (I think, I don't know this for sure). But, during those years would an F350 always have gotten a 60? I'm thinking no. The only importance here is for those looking for a single donor vehicle.

yes...digi cameras are like 'puters...the tech moves so quickly, my 2mp canon is old now after 2 years, and I can be the new canon 4mp for the same price mine was.

Good points! Thus the split. However my rear axle info will be limited...

(only for the 1970's... up to 1980)
As a rule of thumb, your right! Most F250's have the 60 and F350 have the 70... I'll make it clear on my draft page. for a peek change the 2 to a 3 on the one page... nuff said.
The F250 Club Cab had a Dana 70...
Some 1980's 4x4 F350's had a Dana 61...
