Hello again guys,
I was greasing my ball joints today, and noticed this plug dangling down behind my front bumper near the washer fluid tank (see image below).

The previous owner installed xenon headlights (the wiring is a mess) so I'm wondering if this connector was used for the factory lights?
The connector has some type of "dummy plug" or "cap" installed.

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers guys

What year truck? Post a pic showing the terminals. It might be for the day time running lights module which were on Canadian models or yes, it could be for the factory lights

Sorry about that….I forgot to include that information…Truck is 1993 5.8L

I’ll try to take a few better pictures of the connector in the daylight tomorrow.

Daytime running lights it is.
Yup - you’re 100% correct. Thank you very much!

Further research shows the Canadian trucks have the Daytime running module installed, while the US trucks just have the harness pigtail with a dummy plug.
