Hello,

My Bronco is: 91 - 5.8L - Auto - 4WD

My hood detach seems to work fine, but when I put my finger on the latch to unhook the hood, nothing gives!

I must be an idiot if I am just doing something wrong here, but I recall 2 years ago I was able to open the hood just fine.

I had it in storage for a few years, so did not do much to it.

Is it normal for these to stick? And does anyone know of a picture of where to put my finger to detach, so I know I am doing it right?

SOS please...

I am thinking something is just stuck, but I don't recall which part it could be.

Yeah I tried that but no luck.. I am thinking this might be a wd40 situation, and someone pulling the in-cab latch while I mess around with the under hood latch. I found this thread that might work:

I figured it out... Boy I feel like an idiot. I wish I'd had remembered the latch was on the front grill not under the hood
