Anyone in know the limit of the length of the CB antenna in Oregon? I thought I read somewhere that it was 48" but i could never find the site again. I thought i saw that it could only be a maximum of 48" over the mount, so the question is what if you get a 102" and pull it back like the military H1's?

I would immagine there's more of a hight restriction

why do you want a 107" antena?

just get a good Bottom load antena, and tune it.
you will get just as much range

There's no restriction on size, just common sense. The benefit of the 102 for me (i have one) is it's resistance to impacts and I can put a flag on it when I'm at the beach. I've broken many fiberglass antenna's with or without springs. BUT a good base-loaded K40 is probably your best bet.

I did a little searching,
didn't see any official length,
I would figure, as long as it's not bouncing off of overpasses (about 14 feet)
