I'm going to order a new motor for the window in the tailgate of my 1990 full-size Bronco. I've done some searching here and have found two posts that contradict each other. One post says that the tailgate motor interchanges with the passenger's side door and the other post says the driver's side door. Which one is it, so I don't order the wrong one?

BTW, I'm going to take some pictures of the repair and write up an article to stick in the tech forum.

It should be the passenger side window to face the correct direction.
The tailgate motor and front window motors are slightly different(internally) tailgate window motor is a bit stonger. The shaft is also a bit bigger.

FYI
If anyone wants faster power windows(driver and passenger side) get one for the tailgate. It will install in eather the drivers side or passenger side without any problems. On the drivers side the moter gets within a inch or two of the speaker, and is upside down, but still works perfect.

All this worked on my '86, don't know about the other years.
