Hello guys. Been a while
I have a hole worn into the clutch fork where the adjustable rod pushes on the fork to Engage the clutch
In time it will fail
Is there a way to replace the fork lever without removing the transmission?
Is this a common problem? Iam considering welding a nut to the end of the rod to get along for a bit. Any ideas advice appreciated 1978 bronco np435

I don't recall what was on the end of the pushrod on my 79 when I had it, but I'm thinking there may have been a nylon "ball" to eliminate metal on metal wear.
