First- Has any tried or heard of using the expandable foam or high quality caulk to seal the areas on the inside of panels that tend to rust (areas you can't get to with rust bullet)?? Second- I just discovered the egr tube is missing and the PO welded shut the opening on the exhaust manifold but left the rest of the egr in place. It seems to run ok wiith this set up but I want to know if this is something I should replace or simply remove. I have searched but the info I found pertained to complete removal or tube replacement. Thanks

So if I leave the EGR valve alone and simply d/c the vacuum line and seal it I shouldn't need the EGR eliminator or am I completely off track????
