JB weld to get home or as a temporary solution... but I'd be afraid to run it very much without swapping it out. :shrug Then again, my opinion isn't very educated. :toothless

Someone should come along and give you some better reasoning.

Thanks... Pretty much leaning towards new manis :cry gotta try and find a deal now! :banghead lightning, tfs-r's, typhoon, or 3881 eddy... I'm up for anything as of this moment. Shoot even an in great condition stock truck intake would do! :itsatrap

Had similar situation with lower intake on my 88. the PO had JB welded the rear of the lower intake where it blocks the cooling fluid crossover. Noticed it when we installed the new engine and it was leaving a small puddle of coolent in the rear of the old motor.
Went to Ebay and got a used lower intake for 60 buckws shipped, like Steve83 said there a ton of thoes out there and cheap.
