Here it is folks. THE best apple pie crust west of Canadia!

2 cups all-purpose flour
I teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons shortening
6 to 8 tablespoons ice water


Mix in a large bowl:
2 cups all-purpose flour
I teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar

Then cut in using the dough blender:
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons shortening
6 to 8 tablespoons ice water

There you go folks!

What happened to your man card. Did you use it to add a little aditional seasoning to the crust, or was it stolen?????

was that 30 , or 40 weight shortening?
