Ive been looking to make my 400 a full roller motor. I know I can use roller rockers but cant use roller lifters with flat tappet cam.

The problem is that all the manufacturers that make roller cams are designed for the Cleveland motors and are not in the power band that the 400 is meant for. So my question is does anyone make a custom grind roller camshaft for our RPM range? Im thinking 1500 to about 5500 to match the intake Edelbrock makes. Im hoping that I could find a cam similar to this one just as a roller.

Thanks for anything you all may be able to tell me. Have a good one! :beer

well, about the only one that even lists one is howards cams. but they dont list a price or kind of profile, let alone if they can do split duration. My main reason is to make it a full roller motor. I wanna be on a mission to get every drop of performance out of it. roller cam, lifters and rockers. maybe go EFI, if i get the inclination to do it. That, and i havent seen anyone do it yet. i wanna make anyone that bitches about the 351M/400 eat their words.
