found this on craigs list wondering if i should pick this up for a $100


his add
Dana 44,8lug,4:10 gear,came out of my truck a few weeks ago,has been fully rebuilt,10k.on rebuild,just scuff rotors an install in your truck has 4-6 inch lift steering ARM on it,$100call

if its just backwards then yes for sure. if it came out of a dodge you may have much work coming to you to try and get the driveshaft on the other side.

going to go look at it tonight so if its out of a dodge / chevy i should or shouldnt buy it

shouldn't if its out of those, need the pumpkin on the driver side so it'll work

its out of a 79 chevy and i got it for 75 picking it up on sat

either make t work or i have a friend from my unit who is building a blazer i would rather make it work

how are you going to make a passenger side axle work when you need a driver side D44. is it low pinion or hi pinion?

I would be al over the 8 lug stuff from it if you decide to go that route!!!!

Use a 2 wheel drive transmission and a divorced transfer case.

That creates a pretty short steep driveshaft in the rear though
