Hubi!
I guess things got straightened out here for you. I told them you were an ok guy and that you bought my chromolly axles. Did you ever get them?

Glad to see your back!
Yes, I got them and installed already. Thanks a lot.
Now I am trying to find a solution to make stronger front one :)
I am putting ARB to front and rear, so now front axles are the weakest point.

Best regards,
Hubert

i thought that someone was making larger ttb shafts?
nobody is making larger ttb shafts. there's been some discussion on alloy shafts for TTB, only thing I've seen so far (it's been discussed for years) is from JBG, the outer stub, which as I recall is a 1541 alloy upgrade, not much there but they also weren't that expensive, but don't fool yourself just because it's "alloy", it's not 4340 chromo.

I'm rock'n the JBG shafts, Spicer joints, and I have full circle snap rings on both the inners and outers. 302, 4.56's, locker and 34" LTB's - have not broken since the upgrade.. I pound the shit outa my truck too.

As I have been reading it's not so easy to get a right TTB set especially I will be trying to do it remotely because I live in Europe.

If you are running 39's the TTB or solid 44 are worthless - you need a D60 or rocks depending on what your are doing. If you are in Europe - get some portals under the rig.

that's what I'd be looking for over there.

with 39's, this really isn't even about a front axle anymore. The 8.8 is just as likely to not handle that tire size as any D44 front.

except a few mud guys will say it will work. Running 39's and 1/2ton axles.

I was also considering D60, but it's hard to find anyone who will want to send it. I don't even mention Europe shipping, US shipping is enough, because there are 2 companies wchich can take care about shipping, but even to US nobody wants to send.
Wchich D60 are easiest to apply ? I mean from wchich car ?
